Raphaël Langumier

Raphael started his career in aviation when he was 16. He first started to fly glider at Salon-Eyguières (CVVC, southern France). While living in France, He earned his glider license and airplane Private Pilot License. During that time, he had the opportunities to explore aerobatic, mountain flying and was introduced to flight testing .

Moving to Canada in September 2001, he quickly passed his licenses and started his career as flight instructor at CPAQ.AERO. In 2007, he was hired by Nolinor Aviation where he spent 12 years. Raphael continued as freelance instructor, tow banner and became aerobatic instructor.

Raphael has a passion for flight testing. he self studied the science of flight test for many years and was involved in experimental project like the SAM-LS. In January 2020, he had the opportunity to join ITPS Canada and graduate as Experimental Test Pilot in 2021. Then he continued with ITPS Canada as a Flight Test Instructor.

Raphael has accumulated more than 10,000 flight hours in 90+ type of aircrafts from ultralight to medium transport jet, warbird, helicopter. He is TCCA and FAA ATP with aerobatic instructor class 1 rating and CV580, LRJET, B737, L39, L29, HU16 type rating.
